ORDERING THE VACATIOPJ OF STURLA STREET, A PORTI[ORI 03' SOUTH LEE AVENUE AND AH ALLEY IN BLOCK 6, ALL IE? STUBLA SCHOOL

WHEBiiiAB, $his City Oouncil, acting in accordance with Che
proviEiions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways
Code of this State (The Street Vacation Act of 19421, did on the
18th day of July, 1951, pass and adopt its Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 1623,

larly described in said Resolution, and

given by publication and by posting, both in time, form and manner
as required by law as is evidenced by affidavits on file and of
record in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi, and
WHEREAS, Zn accordance with the provision stated in said
Resolution No. 1623 and also contained in the posted notiues of
the adoption of said Resolution, notice was given that a public
hearing would be held before said City Council in

person intereatied in or objecting to said street vacation aould

are unnecessary for present or future public use. (excepting an
easement in the,portion of alley to be vacated) and did so find
and declare, now therefore,

THE CITY COUHCZL OF THE CITY QF LODI DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 2. The following described street, portion of
street and public alley in the City of Lodi is hereby ordered
vacated, closed up and abandoned:
STURLA STREET FRON SOUTH PLEASANT AVENUE TO SOUTH
WUTCHDJS STREET (QUIlflY AVENUE); SOUTH LEE; AVENUE
FRO24 THE SOUTI4 LINE OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCKS FIVE
(5) AND SIX (6) OF STURLA SCHOOL ADDITION TO THE
NORTH LINE OF STURLA STFLEET AID THE TWENTY-FOOT
WIDE ALLEY IN SAID BLOCK SIX (6), ALL IN STURLA
SCHOOL ADDITION AND AS DELINEATED OM THE OFFICIAL

Reserving, however, and excepting from the vacation of
said alley in Block 6, the permanent easement and right therein
to maintain, operate and construct lines of pipe, conduit, cables,
poles, equipment and fixtures for the operation of water, sewer,

Section 2. 'Phis ordinance shall be published one time
in The Lodi Times, a newspaper of general circulation printed
n the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take

effect at the time and in the manner provided by law. The City
Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this ordinance Lo be
recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Joaquin
County as required by Section 8324 of the Streets and Highways
Code of this State,
