ORDINANCE NO. 412
AN ORDER DIRECTING THE VACATION OF TKE
DITION TO LODI, SLBDIVISION OF LOT Z".
PUBLIC ALLEY IN BLOCK 4 OF 'BURR'S AD-
VJā¬EREAS, This City Council of the City of Lodi did, on
the 1st day of March 1950, pass and adopt its Resolution No. 1511
declaring the intention of said city Council to vacate, close up
and abandon that certain twenty (20) foot wide alley delineated
on the official map of "Burr's Addition to Lodi, Subdivision of
Lot 2" as extending North and South through Block 4 of said sub-
division, and,
WEREAS, The City Planning Commission has approved and
recommen6ed that this alley be vacated, and,
WHEXEAS, Notice of such intention was regularly posted
and published in time, place , form and manner required by law
as appears from the affidavit of w. L. Bruner, Street Superin-
tendent of this City, who personally posted notices of said
intended vacation along said alley on the 9th day of March 1950
and from the affidavit of June Brodehl, principal clerk of the
publishers of The Lodi Times, the newspaper of general circula-
tion printed and published in the City of Lodi and in which this
City Council directed publication of said Resolution No. 1511,
s~ch publication being had on the 10th day of March 1950. Both
of said affidavits aye filed and of record in the office of the
City Clerk of this City, and,

WHEREAS, Among other things said resolution and said
posted notices gave notice of a public hearing, for the reception
of evidence, either for or against the vacatron of this public
alley, to be held in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Lodi,
California, beginning at 8:OO o'clock p.m. of nrednesday, April 5,
195% and,
WREAS, At the before mentioned time and place a public
hearing was held and conducted at which no persons appeared to
submit evidence against the vacation of this public die;., there-

FOLLOWS :
Section 1. The following described public allev is hereby
ordered vacated and closed up 8s a public street or way, to wit:
THAT CERTAIN TWEMTY (20) FOOT FIDE ALLEY DELINEATED
ON THE 0-WICIAL NAP OF "BURXIS ADDITION TO LODI,
SUBDIVISION OP LOT 2" FILED WCR 31, 1868, IN VOL. I
AT PAGE 5, BOOK OF MAFS B FLATS, SAI? JOAQUIN COUNTY
RECORDS, AS EXTENDIRG NORTH AND SOUTH THROUGH BLOCK 4
OF SAID SUBDIVISION.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published one time
in The Lodi Times and shall be in force and take effect in the
manner provided by law.

CERTIFIED to be a full, true and correct copy
of Ordinance KO. 412 of the city CounciX of the City
of Lodi, introduced and read at a regular meeting
thereof' held April 5, 1950 and finally passed and
adopted by said City Council in regular meeting on
April 19, 1950 by the following vote:

I FURTHER CERTIFY that Ordinance No. 412 was
approved and signed by the Mayor on the date of its
final passage and adoption and that the sme has been
published according to law.
