ORDINANCE NO.. 368
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION
OF "KNOLL ADDITION" TO THE CITY OF LODI,
CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The annexation of the following described uninhabited
territory in San Joaquin County, California, contiguous to the City bf
Lodi, is hereby approved and the said territory is hereby declared
to be annexed to and made part of the City of Lodi:
"KNOLL SUBDIVISION AS PER THE OFFICIAL Map THEREOF,
AND THAT PART OF THE SOUTHEAST ONE QUARTER ( SEe) OF
SECTION ELEVEK (11) , TOWNSHIP THREE NORTH (T3N) ,
RANGE SIX EAST (R6E), LYING SOUTH OF THE SOUTH LINE
OF SAID KNOLL SUBDIVISION."
This ordinance is adopted and the annexation of the above des-
cribed territory completed in accordance with proceedings regularly
had conforming to the provisions of the "Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939" as amended.
In accordance with said act, this City Council, with the concurrence
of the City Planning Commission of
of bfarch, 1948, did pass and adopt its Resolution No. 1398, wherein
it was declared that this City Council intended to annex the above
described territory, designating the same Knoll addition for identific&
tion, giving its reasons therefore, which Resolution among other
things gave public notice that a hearing would be had in the City
Council Chambers, City Hall, Lodi, California, at the hour of 8:OO
olclock P. M. of Wednesday, March 31,1948, at which place and time
interested property owners might appear and object to said annexation.

Said hearing was had in accordance with this notice. The City
Clerk reported that no written objections had been presented to or

filed with him and on a call for oral protests, none were oPfered and
this City Council did then and there acquire jurisdiction to pass this
ordinance and to annex said territory to the City of Lodi.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in The
Lodi Times and shall be in force and take effect in the manner and at
the time provided by law.
Section 3. Upon the effective date of this ordinance, the City
Clerk shall make, certify, and transmit a copy thereof to the Secretary
of State of the State of California giving the date of its passage,
adoption, and approval and he shall also comply with such other
statutes as may be applicable hereto to effect the purposes hereof.

I, J. F. BLAKELY, City Clerk of the City of Lodi, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 368 was regularly introduced
and read at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of said
City held on the 31st day of March, 194.8, and was thereafter passed,
adopted, and ordered to print in regular meeting of said City Council
held April 7, 194-8, by the following vote:

NOES : Councilmen, NONE
ABSENT: Councilmen, SGGS
I further certify that Ordinance No. 368 was approved and
signed by the Piayor on the date of its final passage and adoption
and that the same has been published according to law.
