HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 346a(Act 2212) ORDINANCE NO. 3464 ORDINfi'CE DECLARING THE IHTENTION OF THE CITY CObTJCIL OF TI-53 CITY OF LODI 2'0 VACATE CERTAIN EASBENTS IN TURNAGZ SUBDIVISION. XHEFSAS, certain easements for public utilities shown on the official map en- titled "TRACT 100, SUBDIVISIONS OF SMJ JOAQUIN COUNTY, W OF TURNAGE SUEIDIVISIW1 are unnecessary for present or prospective public use and in the judgement of this City Council should be supplanted by other easements more practical and available for connection to the water, sewer and electric system of this City therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI DOES ORDAIN As FOUOVS : Section 1, to vacate and abandon all easements for public utilities shown and displayed on that certain map entitled rfTRriCT 100, SUBDIVISION OF SAX JOAQUIN COUNTY, XAF CF TURNAGE SUBDIVISION" filed September 1.4, 1946 and recorded in Vol. 11. of maps and plats at Page ll9 thereof, San Joaquin County Records, which said easexents are particularly described as follows:- It is the intention of this City Council, hereby expressed (1) Over the Southerly seven and one-half (74) feet of each of bts 2, 3, 4 and 5 and over the Northerly seven and one-half (78) feet of each of Lots 6 and 21, (2) Over the Easterly seven and one-half (7h) feet of each of Lots 6 to 13 both inclusive and over the Nesterly seven and one-half (7$) feet of each of Lots 14 to 21, both inclusive. Over the Southerly seven and one-half (7i) feet of each of Lots 13, I.,!+ and 27 and over the Easterly seven and one-half ('78) feet of each of Lots 24, 25, 26 and 27. (3) Section 2, May 1947 at the hour of 8:OO o'clock P. N. and the Council Chambers of this City Council, City Hall, Lodi, California as the time and place when and where interested persons may be heard and objections to this proposed vacation will be received and considered, Reference is here made to a map filed with the City Clerk for further particulars. Section 3, The Superintendent, of Streets will post or cause to be posted, notice of this intention along the lines of the easements herein proposed for vacation at the time and in the manner provided by law. will cause a copy of this Ordinance to be published at least twice in The Lodi Times at least fifteen days prior to the date herein set for hearing. This City Council hereby fixes TVednesday, the 21st day of The City Clerk Section 4. the provisions of Section 861 of the bhnicipal Corporations Act and shall take effect on its final passage and approvale This is an ordinance especially exempted from the referendum by Approve:!
