ORDINANCX NO. 339 AN ORDINANCE RFPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 204 AwF"ED AUGUST 20, 1934; REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 315 AS ADOPPED DECXWBER 19, 1945 AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 337 €iCOPTED OCTOBER 23, 1946. The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. Ordinance No. 204, entitled An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. 137 of the City of Lodi, entitled "An Ordinance Regulat- ing Traffic and Parking of Automobiles upon the Streets in the City of Lodi, Providing a Penalty for the Violation thereof and Repealing all ordinances in Conflict Therevrith" by adding thereto Section 13 and mak- ing it Unlawful to park Automobiles or other Vehicles on Certain Public Streets and Ways in said City for Certain Periods and During Certain Times It, and Ordinance No. 315 An Ordinance Amending Section 13 as added to Ordinance No. 204 by adding thereto a Portion of Church Street on which Automobile Parking shall be Restricted for Certain Periods and during Certain Times and Repealing Ordinance No. 310 are hereby repealed, effective on the date this ordinance takes effect. Section 2. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 337 entitled An Ordinance Amending Sections 1 and 3 of Ordinance No. 137 entitled 'An Ordinance Regulating Traffic and Parking of Automobiles Upon the Streets in the City of Lodi, Providing a Penalty for the Violation Thereof and Repeal- ing All Ordinances in Conflict Therewith' and Ordinance No. 295, entitled 'Relating to Loading Zones' is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 1. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 137 entitled as set forth in the title thereof is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 1. The City Council, by resolution, shall determine upon what streets parking of motor vehicles other than parallel to the curb or street edge shall be permitted and the angle to such curb or edge at which vehicles shall be parked. not so designated, parking of Vehicles shall be parallel to the On all streets, -.. curb or edge and all. right hand wheels of standing vehicles shall -1- 9 ( Ord, 2. 339 - 2 ). be within eighteen (18) inches from the right hand curb or edge of such streets. On streets where parking other than parallel to the curb or street edge is permitted, the surface of the street upon which such parking is permitted shall be marked by painted white lines designating the proper angle for parking and it shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle except between two of - such white lineg;provided, that parking other than parallel to the curb or street edge shall not be permitted on any street where such parking would reduce the roadway avzilable for travel to less than twenty (20) feet. The City Council shall also designate by resolution, those streets or portions of streets upon which motor vehicles may be parked or left standing for limited periods, the days on which ‘ such limited parking shall be required and the--& length SO of time during which motor vehicles may b-arked or left standing. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published one tinie in The Lodi Times after its final passage and approval and shall be in force and take effect at the time and in the manner provided by law. Section 4, All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed in so far as such conflict may exist. ----------o---------- Approved this20th day of November, 1946 .- I, J.
