HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 316In the City Council City of Lodi Lodi, California Ol?DINANCE NO. 316 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 238 BY ALTERING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF CERTAIN ZONES AS DISPLAYED UPON THE "ZONE DISTRICT MAP" OF THE CITY OF LODI AS ADOPTED BY SECTION 2 OF SAID OFUJIMANCE NO. 238 AND RECLASSIFYING AND The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as Section 1. REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTIES LOCATED THEREIN. follow s : The "Zone District Map" referred to in the title of this ordinance shall be altered, changed and amended and the properties hereinafter described shall be rezoned and reclassified from and after the effective date of this ordinance to be in the CQXMERCIAL DISTRICT ZONE, to wit: All that part of Block Ten (10) Mokelumne not now included in the Commercial District Zone, i.e., that from and after the effective date of the Ordinance approving such rezoning, all the property in the block hounded by West Elm Street, North School Street, West Fine Street and North Church Street shall be zoned and classified as being in the Commercial District Zone. Ordinance Wo. 238 amended hereby is that certain ordinance of the City of Lodi passed and adopted by the City Council on the 19th day of July, 3937, and entitled "An Ordinance to Regulate, Restrict and Segregate the Location of Industries, Business, Trades, Apartments, Dwellings and Other Specified Uses; to Regulate and Limit the Height and Bulk of Buildings Hereafter Erected; to Regulate and Determine the Area of Yards and Other Open Spaces; for Said Purposes to Divide the City Into Districts, to Provide for Enforcement and Prescribe Penalties for the Violation of its Provisions, and to Repeal Ordinances in Conflict IIerewith and Declaring Sections of Certain Ordinances continued in Force." Section 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in THE LODI TIMES and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and after its final passage and approval.
