HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 300ORDINANCE NO. 300 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARISS AND COM- PENSATION OF THE CITY CLERK AND OF TKE CITY TREASURER OF THE CITY OF LODI, AND REPEALING ALL FOKMER ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT KEREWITH. The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows : Section 1. Ordinance No. 218 entitled "An Ordinance Fixing the Salaries and Compensation of the City Clerk and Ex- Officio Assessor and of the City Treasurer and Ex-Ufficio Tax Collector of the City of Lodi, Repealing Ordinances No. 112 and No. 145 and Repealing All Ordinances and Parts of Ordinances in Conflict Herewith" passed and adopted March 16, 1936, and Ordinance No. 263 entitled "An Ordinance Amending Section 2 of Ordinance No. 218 of the City of Lodi, by Changing the Salary of the City Treasurer and Ex-Officio Tax Collector" passed and adopted February 7, 1940 and all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed, such repeal to be in force and take effect on the date that Section 2 of this ordinance becomes effective. Section 2. Effective April 19, 1944, the City Clerk shall receive a salary of $i 300.00 as such City Clerk and such allowances for necessary expenses incurred in connection with his services as may be allowed from time to time by the City Council. Effective April 19, 194.4, per month for his services the City Treasurer shall receive a salary of $ 125.00 per month for his services as such Bity Treasurer and such allowances for necessary expenses incurred in connection with his services as may be allowed from time to time by the City Council. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published one time in THE LODI TIMES, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in this City and shall take effect at the time herein provided, such time being not less than thirty days from and after the date of its passage and approval.
