AN ORDINANCE REPLALING OFDINANCE NO. 231 AND IN
LIEU TREPC3OF ESTABLISHING THE OPLI’ICE OF CITY AT-
TORNEY AND FIXING HIS DUTIES AND COKPENSATION.

follows :
Section 1. Ordinance No. 231 of the City o
adopted January 18, 1937 is hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby established the office
of City Attorney of and for the City of Lodi, California.

to attend to all suits, matters and things in which the City may
be legally interested, to give his advice or opinion in writing
