AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 238 BY ALTERING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF CERTAIN PORTIONS OF CERTAIN ZONES AS DISPLAYED UPON THE "ZONE DISTRICT MAP" OF TKE CITY OF LODI AS ADOPTED BY SETION 2 OF SAID
ORDINANCE NO. 238 AND RECLASSIFYING AND REZONING
PROPERTIES LOCATED THEREIN.
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as
Section 1. The "Zone District Map" referred to in the
title of this ordinance shall be altered, changed and amended and
the properties hereinafter described shall be rezoned and re- classified, from and after the effective date of this ordinance,
in the following manner, to-wit:
follows:
(a) The quarter block at the southeast corner of Church Street and Walnut Street (Lots 1 and 2
in Block 7, Mokelumne) shall be reclassified
and rezoned to be in the Commercial District
Zone;
The quarter block at the northeast corner of
Church Street and Walnut Street (Lots 7 and 8, Block 8
Mokelumne) shall be reclassified and rezoned
to be in the Commercial Distriot Zone3
the Multi-family Residence Zone shall be re-
classified and rezoned to be in the Commercial District Zone: "Be inning on the east line of Hutchins Street, 118.58 feet North of the north
line of Lodi Avenue, and running thence Northerly on the said east line of Hutchins Street 49.97
feet to the southwest corner of the land of S.A.
Hall, thence hasterly 126.35 feet to the west line of a twenty foot alley, thence Southerly 50 feet,
thence Westerly to the point of beginning .
The alterations. chames and amendments to the said

(c) The following described parcel, now included in
"Zone District Map" hereih set Forth, have been approved by the City Planning Commission of this City and by this City council after hearings held in confonnity with. the provisions of said
Ordinance No. 238 and the laws of the State of California ap- plicable thereto.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in "THE LODI TIMES," and shall be in force and take effect at the
time and in the manner provided by law.
/ I, hereby approve and sign the foregoing Ordinance
No. 265 this 21st day of February, 1940.
