AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 154 OP
THE CITY OF LODI BY PROVIDING THB f.XNDITIONS
UNDER WHICH CATS MBY BE KEPT IN SAID CITY,

Section 1: Ordbance Iia, 154 of the City of &di is breby amended
the addition of the following section to be numbered *Seetion 'F4.

said City, shall pay in advance to the City Poundntaster or to the Chief of
Pollee an annual license tax which tax is hereby fixed at fifty i5m cents
for a male cat and at one (#LOO) dollar for a female cat,
for the balance of this year shall be pro-rated fromthe time this Qrdinantm
becomes eqfective to the Thirty-first C3fst1 day of Recember, 1936. The payment
license taxes
of the license tax herein shall be evidenced by a receipt showing that said tax
has been paid and by a metallic tag bearing a serial number and year date to be
furnished by the City, which tag shall he attached to the collar of the eat so
licensed by the owner thereof,
Cats shall not be prmitted to run at large in sald City and msy be
impounded, kept in the (2ity Pound and redeemed under the same m&itlons and for
the same fees applying to dogs as provided in Or'dinance b. 164 and unclaimd
cats may be disposed of in the same manner as provided in said Ordinance far
unclaimed dogs,
