HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 222ORDINhNCE NO. 222 AN ORDINANCE MhKING IT UXLLWFUL TO PBRK VEHICLES INrALLEYS IN THE CITY OF LODI. The City Council of the City of Iodi does hereby ordain as follows: Section 1, It shall be unlawful, within the corporate limits of the City of LOdi, to park, or leave standing any vehicle in any alley in the City of Lodi without a competent driver or opei>ator in such vehicle, except while such vehicle is being loaded or unloaded, such laading or unloading to consume not to exceed thirty minutes. Section 2. WLthin the meaing hereof, an alley shall be any public street or thoroughfare which is less than twenty-five (25) feet in width. Section 3. person who shall violate any of the terms or provisions hereof shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed Fifty Dollars ($50,00) or by imprisonment for not to exceed ninety (90) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Section 4. This ordinance shall be printed once in The Lodi News-Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said City of Lodi, and shall take effect thirty days from and after its approval znd publication.
