HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 218ORDINANCE NO. zi8 AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES AND COMPENSATION OF THE CITY CLERK AND EX-OFFICIO ASSESSOR AND OF THE CITY TREASURER AND .EX-OFFICIO TAX COLLECTOR OF THE CITY OF' LODI, REPEALING ORDINANCES HO. 112 AND NO. 145 AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: The officers of the City of Lodi hereinafter named from and after thefirst day of bky 1936, shall receive compensations as hereinafter set out, and the same shall be in full for all their respective services during their respective terms, to-wit: Section 1. The City Clerk and Ex-Officio Assessor of said city shall receive a salary of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) per month for his services as such clerk and ex-officio assessor, payable monthly. Section 2. The City Treasurer and Ex-Officio Tax Collector of said city shall receive a salery of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per month for his services as such treasurer and ex-officio tax collector , payable monthly. Section 3. Ordinances No. 112 and No. 145 of the City of Lodi we hereby repealed, such repeal to take effect upon the first day of DllaY 1936; and all other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, such repeal to take effect upon said last- mentioned date, provided however that the present City Clerk and Ex-Officio Assessor and the present Treasurer and Ex-Officio Tax Collector of said city shall, until the said of May 1936, receive such salaries and compensations respectively as may have been heretofore provided for, whether by ordinance or resolution, now in effect. first day - 1- Section 4, This ordinance shall be published once in THE LODI WE!'IS-SEWTINGL, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published in said city, and shall be in force and take efCect from and zi'ter the first day of Nay, 1936, APPROVED : Mayor of the City of Lcdi.
