An Ordinance regulating the speed of railroad trains, the
obstruction of streets thereby, etc.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi do ordain as
followsI
Section 1.- Every person who shall, either as owner, or
employee, propel any railroad car, locomotive, hand car,
or any car or train of cars in or through the 'city at a'
greater rate of speed than 15 miles per hour, or permit or
allow any such car, engine or train of cars to be upon or
obstruct any street crossing in said city for a longer period
than five-minutes upon any one occasion, and every Berson
under the age of twenty-one years other than an employee
who shall get upon or leave within the limits of said city
any such car, engine or train of cars while in motion,
is guilty of 'a misdemeanor.
Section 2.- This ordinance shall be published !yfy by p sting
the same in three public places in the City of Lodi.
Section 3.- This ordinance shall be in force and take
effect immediately on approval and publication.
Section 4.- All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereb8 repealed.
