The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi do ordain as follows: Section 1. - Ordinance No. 143, adopted November 5th, 1923, is hereby repealed. Section 2. - The schedule of rates for electric energy from and after June lst, 1924, shall be as follows, per month: For all services using electric energy between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. the first 30 K.B.H. per K.W. of &Iaximum Demand at 4 cents per K.W.H.; the next 40 K.T.H. per K.W. of niaximum Demand at 3 cents per K.W.H.; the next 80 1Z.W.H. per K.W. of Kaximum Demand at 8 cents per R.E.H.; the next 100 K.W.H. per K.W. of Maximum Demand at 1% cents per lLX.If., and tine balance at 1 cent ner 1LY.H.; plus a demand charge of 50 cents per K.W. of the confiected Jiiaximum Demnd of the service. For all services where electric energy is never used between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and. 8:30 p.m. the ra.tes shall be as follows: The first 30 K.7J.H. per K.lV. of Maximum Demand at 3 cents per K.W.H.; the next 40 K.W.H. per K.\VT. of Uaximum Demand at 2 cents,per K.m.H.; the next 80 K.V.H. per R.W. of Maxim Demand at 1 cent per K. TiT. H.; and the balance at 9 mills per K.W.H.; plus a demand charge of 50 cents per K.W. of the connected Naximum Demand zf the service. Section 3. - All bills for electric energy and water furnished by the City of Lodi shall be payable to the City Clerk at his office in the City of Lodi from the first to and including the tenth day of eacli,month, for the month next preceding. To all bills for water and electric energy remaining unpaid at 5 p.m. on the tenth day of each calendar month the City Clerk shall add to and collect as a penalty for non-payment the -1- sum of ten cents (3.10) for each bill. He shall immediately mail notice to each consumer in arrears stating the amount claimed to be due and giving notice that if the claim is not settled by the tenth day of the following month service shall be discontinued and shall be resumed only ugon payment of all arrears. It will be the duty of the City Clerk to make and deliver to the Superintendent of electric rrorks on the ekventk day of each month a list showing the names and addresses of all parties rajho are then delinquent; for water am3 electric service and. said Superintendent shall thereupon muse the discontinuance of each service listed., or failing to do so, shall report such failure to ‘the Eoard of Trustees at their next regular meeting, giving his reas on therefor. Section 4. - )To person, except an owner of the premises where electric service is d.esired. shall be su.pplied. with the 6el:n.e except upon the mitten order op the ovner, who shall then become liable for all service rendered at said premises. Section 5. - This ordinance shall be published by being printed. one time in THE LODI NEXS and shall take effect the first day of June, 1924. Apprcved. this $?f- day of q3 , 1924.
