The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi, do ordain as
follows : -
Section 1. On all streets in the City of Lodi, marked off with
white lines for parking motor vehicles, it &all be unlawful for any per-
son to park an automobile, except between two such lines.
Section 2. It shall be unlawful in the City of Lodi, for any
person to park any motor vehicle or any other kind of a vehicle in
front of any fire-engine house or any house in which fife apparatus is'
kept for instant use, or in front of any theater building within said
City of LodiR
Section 3. No truck of any kind, exceeding seventeen (17)
feet in length shall be parked on Sacramento Street in said City of
Lodi, between Oak and Locust Streets.
Section 4. It shall be unlawful to park any kind of a
vehicle on any street in the City of Lodi in such a manner as to
obstruct the passage way or drive way leading from the street into
priva-te premises.
Section 5. No person shall hitch or leave standing or cause
or permit to be hitched or left standing, any animal, or leave standing
or cause to permit to be left standing, any vehicle, or stop or cause
or permit to be stopped, any animal or vehicle upon any street within
fifteen feet of zny public fire hydrant iocated upon the street or
sidewalk, unless such animal is in the charge of some person capable
of driving the same, or unless such vekiicle is in the charge of some
person capable of driving or operating the same.
Section 6. It shall be unlawful in said City, for any person
to hitch or tie, or cause or permit to be hitched or tied, any animal
to any post used for the support of any lamp used in lighting any stree.

Section. 7. It shall be unlawful in said City for any person.

Section 8. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 9. Any person, violating any provision of this
ordinance, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof, shall be subject to a fine not to exceed $100.00, or in
default of payment of the same, shall be imprisxoned in the County
Jail of the County of San Joaquin, one day for every two dollars ($2.00)
of said fine, remaining unpaid.
Section 10. This ordinance shall be published once in
“The Ddi ITens”, a daily newspaper, published and circulated in said
- City of Lodi, and. shall be in force and effect thirty days from and
after its final passage and publication.
