ORDINANCE NO. 1349
AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
AMENDING LODI CITY CODE CHAPTER 14, SECTION 43 RELATING
TO THE VEHICLE CODE SECTION
TO REMOVAL OF PARKED VEHICLES, BY DELETING REFERENCE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LODI CITY COUNCIL.
SECTION 1. Lodi City Code Chapter 14, Section 43 is hereby
amended by deleting reference to the Vehicle Code Section, as an
urgency ordinance, effective the date of this ordinance, to read
as follows:

"Set. 14-43. Same-Removal of Vehicles.
In the event a vehicle is parked or left
standing upon a street in excess of a
consecutive period of seventy-two hours
any member of the police department
authorized by the chief of police may
remove such vehicle from the street in
a manner and subject to the requiremen
of the Vehicle Code of the State."

herewith are repealed insofar as such conflict ma
---------- SECTION 3. The foregoing Ordinance No. 1349 was i ced and
adopted as an urgency ordinance due to the change of Vehicle
Code Section number.

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be published one time in the
"Lodi News Sentinel", a daily newspaper of general circulation
printed and published in the City of Lodi.

Noes : Council Members - None
Absent: Council Members - None
Abstain: Council Members - None
I further certify that Ordinance No. 1349 was approved
and signed by the Mayor on the date of its passage and
the same has been published pursuant to law.
