For the purpose of this ordinance, =wet garbageA shall be held to include and mean kltchen refuse and offal, swill, and also every acoumulation of aimel, vegetable arid other matter that attends the preparation, consumptian, decay or dealing in meats, fish, fowl, birds, fruits or vegetables, except that dead animals are not included wlthin the meaning of "wet garbage." include and be held to mean all other "waste matter" including coffee grounfls, not incluaed in the definition of "wet garbage", ordinarily colleoting around rasidences and business howes. house or residence shall be removed by the Oity of Lodi, its agent or employee, st regular intervds of three tiam 8 week, and from every business place and other places not a private residsqce, it shall be removed from any private dwelling house or resiclonee at least once a week and from every business place at least six times a week. each private dwelling house or residence shall pay the sum of fifty , cents ( 50#) per month and all owners or tenants of business houses, flats or other places, not a private residence, shall pay such sum per month,as may be mutually agreed upon by the agents of said City. In the event a oollection fee mutually satfsfautory, cannot be agree& upo11, the matter shall he submitbd to the Board of True'tees, who shd1 fix Section 2. And provided further that if the charges hereby fixe,a for the removd of said garbage shell not be pald to add agent of the City within five days after demand of such payment, said agent #fall thereafter be under no obligation to collect and remove any garbage from the premises of anyone so defaulting in pwment.
