HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 1227ORDINANCE NO. 1227 ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE GENERAL REVENUE SHARING PORTION OF THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1980 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1981 The City Council of the City of LodT does ordain as follows: Section 1. - Together with estimated revenues to be received for fiscal 1981 and the unappropriated fund and reserve balances in the City Treasury as of June 30, 1980, there is hereby appropriated and allocated in addition to those monies allocated for the support of the City's Capital Improvement Budget by Ordinance No. 1215 adopted by the Lodi City Council on November 5, 1980, the following Federal Revenue Sharing Funds : Operating Budget 1980-81 - previously approved $153,450 Capital Budget 1980-81 142,300 Additional Items 105,601 $401,351 Items approved in the 1980-81 Operating Budget were as follows: -1- Upgrade Computer (Finance) Air Masks (Fire) Fire Engine (Fire) Microfilm Materials (Fire) Tape Recorder (Fire) Scoreboard -Ball Park (Parks) Handi Talkies (Police) Radio (Police) Sump Pump (PW) $ 12,105 2,800 125 , 000 2 , 690 1,500 4 I 000 2 , 120 1 I 939 1,300 $153,450 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET 1980-81 Central Ave./Eden Storm Drain $79,000 Municipal Service Center Garage Holst $ 5,000 Garage Door Openers 2,400 Warehouse Shelving 40,000 $47,400 Park Improvements Restroom Fixtures $ 4,700 Renovate Ball Field 4,200 Sprinklers at Candy Cane Park 2,000 $10,900 -2- Street Reflectors (Identify Fire Plugs) Lockers for Police 2,000 3,000 $ 5,000 $142,300 ADDITIONAL ITEMS - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET 1980-81 Repowering of Fire Engine $36[231 Communications Study 11,370 Consultant to study police and fire communication equipment and make recommendations on condition and efficiency Word Processors 20,000 Purchase two electronic word processors as means of increasing productivity of clerical operations Product Information Network 1,000 New service providing information on products and systems as means of reducing cost of operations Modification to Police Radio System 25,000 Deficiencies identified to improve communica- tions in field.
