AH ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5, ARTICLE V, SECTION 5-22
OF THE LODI MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO OFF-SITE IMPROVEMENTS
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain
as follows:
Section 1. Chapter 5, Article V, Section 5-22,
Subsection (a) of the Lodi Municipal Code relating
to off-site improvements, is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Sec. 5-22. Exceptions and deferments.
(a) The requirements of Section 5-21 shall
not apply if the cost of development within any
twelve-month period is determined by the Public
Works Director to be less than ten thousand
dollars ($10,000).
This amount shall be adjusted by the Public
Works Director on July 1 of each year based upon
the change of the U. S. Average Engineering News-
Record Building Cost Index, using the following
formula:

ENR Index for June Amount = slO,OOO 1936 (ENR Index for June 1980)
and that the amount shall be rounded to the nearest
$100.
- Section 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed insofar as such conflict may exist.
- Section 3. This ordinance shall be published one time in the
"Lodi News Sentinel", a daily newspaper of general circula-
tion printed and published in the City of Lodi and shall be
in force and take effect thirty days from and after its
passage and approval.

of the City Council of the City o.f Lodi held July 2, 1980 and was
thereafter passed, adopted and ordered to print at a regular meeting
of said Council held July 16, 1980 by the following vote:

Absent: Councilmen - Katnich
Abstain: Councilmen - None
Councilmen - Hughes, McCarty, Murphy, and Pinkerton
I further certify that Ordinance No. 1205 was approved and
signed by the Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore on the date of its
passage and the same has been published pursuant to law.
