HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 1193ORDINANCE NO. 1193 ORDINANCE PREZONING TFTE JOHNSON RANCH REORGANIZATION EXCEPT FOR THE EASTERLY 300 FETT WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF SOUTH CHFROKFE LANE, LODI, NORTH AXD SOUTS OF THE FUTURE EXTENSION OF CENTURY BOULEVARD TO P-D (191, PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PISTRICT NO. 19 FOR RES- IDENTIAL USE CONSISTENT WITH THE GENERAL PLAN AND PRE- ZONING THE TANDY RANCH REORGANIZATION WHICH IS LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF ALMOND DRIVE, LODI, WESTERLY OF SOUTH CHEROKEE LANE TO P-D (19) PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 19 FOR RESIDENTIAL USES CONSISTENT WITH THE GENERAL PLAN The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows : Section 1. The property hereinafter described and known as the Johnson Ranch Reorganization shall be prezoned to P-9 (19) Planned Development District No. 19 for residential use consis- tent with the General Plan. A portion of the East one-half of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, and a portion of the Southwest one- quarter of Section 18, Township 3 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, being described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the West line of CHEROKEE LANE with the south line of Lot 6 of A.J. LARSON'S SUBDIVISION of the Northeast one-quarter of SECTION 13, Township 3, North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, filed in Book of Official Maps and Plats, Volume 2, page 4, San Joaquin County Records, said point being on the existing City Limits line of the City of Lodi, thence, North 0' 40' 00" West, along said City Limits line and West line of CHEROKEE LANE, 441.0 feet to the north line of said Lot 6; thence South 86O 55' 30" West, along said north line being along said City Limits, 703.20 feet; thence leaving said City Limits line, continuing South 86O 55' 30" West along said north line 240.0 feet to the northwest corner of said Lot 6; thence South Oo 38' the west line of said Lot 6, a distance of 441.0 feet to the North line of the southeast one-quarter of said Section 13; thence South 87O 47' 00" West, along 00" West, along said North line, 656.75 feet to the northwest corner of that certain tract of,land described as Parcel 1 in Instrument recorded in Volume 4047, page 189, Book of Official Records of San Joaquin County; thence South along the west line of said Parcel I, a distance of 528.0 feet to the southwest corner thereof, thence North 87' 47' 00" East along the South line of said Parcel 1 and its easterly production 1650.00 feet to the West line of the Southwest one-quarter of said Section 18; thence South 88O 07l 09" East to a point in the Easterly line of U. S. HIGHWAY NO. 50 and STATE HIGHWAY NO. 99; thence Northerly, along said Easterly line, to the Southeast corner of the tract of land annexed to the City of Lodi as the "WENTLAND ADDITION", described in City of Lodi Resolution No. 3919, thence North 88' 07' 09" West, along the south line of said "WENTLAND ADDITION" 394.17 feet to the Northwest corner of the Southwest one-quarter of said Section 18; thence continue along the South line of said "WENTLAND ADDITION", South 86O 27' 00" West, 50.00 feet to the point of beginning, containing 35.2 acres, more or less. 2 EXCEPT: That portion of Johnson Ranch Ah&tion lying between the west line of Cherokee Lane and, a line lying 300 feet west of said west line. Section 2. The property hereinafter described and known as the Tandy Ranch Reorganization shall be prezoned to P-D (191, Planned Development District No. 19 for residential uses consistent with the General Plan: A portion of "A. J. LARSON'S SUBDIVISION of the Northeast one-quarter of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian", the map or plat being filed in Book of Official Maps and Plats, Volume 2, page 4, San Joaquin County Records, and describedas follows: Beginning at the southwest corner of ALMOND DRIVE ADDITION, annexed to the City of Lodi by Lodi City Reso- lution No. 3630, said corner being the intersection of the south line of Almond Drive (50 feet wide) with the southerly production of the west line of Lot 4 of said A. J. Larson's Subdivision of the NEk of Section 13; thence along Lodi city limits the following two courses: (1) along the south line of said Almond Drive, North 86O 44' East 240.0 feet, and (2) South OOo 38' East 427.40 feet to the north line of Lot 6 of said Subdivision; thence leaving city limits line, westerly along the north line of said Lot 6 a distance of 240.0 feet to the east line of Lot 7 of said Subdivision; thence South Oo 38'East along said east line 441.0 feet to the south line of said Lot 7; thence South 86O 55' along the south line of Lots 7 and 12 of said Subdivision 959.35 feet to a point North 86O 55' from the southwest corner of said Lot 12; thence North 0' 33' 30" West 913.85 feet to the north line of 3 30" West 30" East 35.75 feet said Almond Drive; thence North 86O 44' East along said north line 958.25 feet to the west line of Lot 4 of said Subdivision; thence South Oo 38' East along said west line (produced), being the Lodi city limits line, 50.05 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 22.49 acres, more or less. The above prezoning herein set forth has been approved by the City Planning Commission and by the City Council of this City after public hearings held in conformance with provisions of Chapter 27 of the Code of the City of Lodi and the laws of the State of California applicable thereto. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed insofar as such conflict may exist. Section 4. This ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi News Sentinel", a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and after its passage and approval.
