HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 114-- ORINANCE MOO 114. AN ORDINANCE LEVYING TAXES IN THE YEAR 1920 IbT PROVISION OF REVENUE POR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1921. The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi do Ordain as follows: section 1. In the year 1929, and in provision of revenue for saia city of LOdi for the fiscal year beginning July 1,1921, upon all the real and personal property within the City of Lodi taxable for municipal purposes there is hereby levied taxes as follows > to-wit : - For the General Purposes of said City, at the rate of Eighty-five and Five-tentfls Cents (80.855) on each one hundred dollars of the' assessed value of said taxable property; For Library Purposes of said City at the rate of Sev- enteen Cents (#0.17) on each one hundred dollars of the assesed Value of said taxable @roperty; For Bond Interest and Redemption purposes of said City, at the rate of Twenty-two and Bive-tenths Cents ($0.225~) on each one hundred dollars of the assessed value of Said taxable property . The aforesaid tax rate of Twenty-two and FiVe-tenthS cents ($0.225) on each one hUndred dollars of the assessed value of said taxable property is the rate for bond Interest and redemp- tion on bonds of said City issued and putstanding on the 8th day of November, 1910, having been issued in the year 1908, and is apport ionecl as follows: For interest and redemption on sewer bonds Nine Cents ($0.09) on each one hundred dollars of the assessed value of said taxable property. For interest and redemption on water and light bonds Thirteen and Five-tenths cents ($0.135) on eWh one hundred dollars of the assessed value of said taxable property. Section 2. This ordinance Shall be published one time in The Lodi Sentinel, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and published in the Said City of Lodi, and shall take effect thirty days from and after its passage, approval and publica- t ion. I hereby approve and sign the foregoing ordinance No. 114 this 6th aay of September, A.D. 1920. I, H. S.
