AN ORDINANGE AMENDING CHAPTER 27 (ZONING ORDINANCE)
OF THE LODI CITY CODE TO INCLUDE AN "UNCLASSIFIED
HOLDING DISTRICT 'I (U-H) .
The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows:
Section 1.
amended by the addition of Section 12-D which shall read in full
as follows:
Section 27- 12-D, U. H. Unclassified-Holding District
The following regulations shall govern except as otherwise provided
in Section 27- 13.
A. U-H, Unclassified-Holding District
Section 27-12 of the Code ofthe City of Lodi is hereby
Description and Purpose
The U-H, Unclassified-Holding District shall be the designation
given to all territory hereinafter annexed to the City of Lodi,
unless the territory has been specifically given another
designation by official action of the City Council.
This District designates land to be held in an agricultural,
non-urban state as a reserve for future uses. Land will be held
in this District until a need for the land exists, at which time it
will be developed in a manner pending proper timing for the
economical provision of utilities, major streets, and other
facilities.

Section 2. Usjes Permitted
A. Single-family dwelling with not more than one (1) dwelling
per lot, each lot being a minimum of 20 acres.
B. Farms and ranches for the growing of nursery stock,
field crops, tree, vine and berry crops, and vegetable
or flowering garden.
C. Farms and ranches for the grazing of cattle, sheep, or
horses on a lot or parcel of land having an area of not
less than five acres including the supplementary feeding
of such cattle, sheep or horses provided such grazing is
not a part of, nor conducted in conjunction with any dairy,
livestock feed yard, livestock sales yard, or other
prohibited uses.

Section 3. Accessory Uses
A. Private stables and corrals.
B. Other accessory uses and buildings customarily appur-
tenant to a permitted use.
Section 4. Conditional Uses.
A. Private noncommercial recreation areas, uses and
facilities, including country clubs, swimming pools, and
golf courses.
Roadside stand exclusively for the sale of agricultural
products grown on the premises.

Section 27- 13(h).

F. Public and quasi-public buildings or structures and
uses of an administrative, educational, religious,
cultural, or public service type normally allowable
with a Use Permit in an R- 1 District.
Section 5. Prohibited Uses.
All uses which are not explicitly permitted in the Chapter
are prohibited.
Section 6.
herewith are hereby repealed insofar as such conflict may exist.
Section 7.

and published in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take
effect thirty days from and after its passage and approval.
