HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 1069ORDINANCE NO. 1069 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14-42 AND 14-43 OF THE LODI CITY CODE REGARDING TIME LIMIT FOR THE PARKING OF VEHICLES AND REMOVAL OF VEHICLES. The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. Section 14-42 is hereby amended to read in full as follows: Sec. 14-42. Parking for consecutive period in excess of seventy-two hours--Prohibited. No person who owns or has possession, custody or control of any vehicle shall park such vehicle upon any street ' or alley for more than a consecutive period of seventy-two hours. I Section 2. Section 14-43 is hereby amended to read in full as .. follows : Sec. 14-43. Same--Removal of vehicles. In the event a vehicle is parked or left standing upon a street in excess of a consecutive period of seventy-two hours, any member of the police department authorized by the chief of police may remove such vehicle from the street in the manner and subject to the requirements of section 22652 of the Vehicle Code of the state. Section 3. News-Sentinel", a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and after its passage and approval.
