HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 100t3IWIWNCE NO.= AN ORDIMBNOE AMENDDG SECTION 2,OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 38, AS AIvENDED BY ORDINAITGES ITUMBERED 89 and 92. The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi do ordain as follows:- SECTION I. Section 2 of Ordinance Number 38 of the City of Lodi passed April 19,1909, and entitled "Ordinance No.38 Relating to Streets; Defining Certain Teas as Officially Used; Fixing the Location of Curb Lines and Thereby the Width bf the Roadway and Sidewalk Space; and Fixing tbe Width of the Sidewalk and Tree Space", as amended by OrdinancesNumbers 89 and 92 of said City,is hereby amended by adding to said Section 2 the following: And excepting that on Lee Avenue from the North line of Lodi Avenue to the South line of Locust Street,$he curb line is hereby fixed and shall be distant 12 feet from the division line between said street and the blocks or lots abutting thereon; And excepting that on Locast Street,from the East line of Hutchins Street to the East line of Cherokee Street the curb line is hereby fixed and shall be distant 15 feet from the division line between said street and the blochs or lots abutting thereon; And exoepting that on Locust Street from the Bast line of Cherokee stre,$ to the East line of Grand Avenue, the curb line is hereby fixed and shall be a line, which is distant at the East line of Cherokee Street 15 fee% from the division line between the said street and the blocks or lots abutting thereon;, and is distant at the East line of Grand Avenue 10 feet from such division line, and which between said deteminirzg lines shall have a ! Where a curb line herein is established at a certain distance from a . division line between a street &nd the lots an2 blocks abutting thereon, such distance is to be taken on the side of such division line towards the center of the street. SECTIOE 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in “me Lodi Sentinel”, a newspaper published and circulated in said City of Lodi;an& shall take effect and be in force thirty days from and after its passage.
