HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances - No. 1712 ERORDINANCE NO. 171 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE LODl CITY COUNCIL ADDING SECTION 1 .I2030 TO THE LODl MUNICIPAL CODE DETERMINING THAT THERE WILL BE A FILING FEE OF $25 CHARGED FOR THE PROCESSING OF CANDIDATES’ NOMINATION PAPERS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section I. follows: Section 1.12.030 is added to the Lodi Municipal Code to read as Pursuant to $10228 of the Elections Code of the State of California, there is imposed a filing fee proportionate to the costs of processing a candidate’s nomination papers in the amount of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) to be paid upon the filing of such nomination papers. Section 2. Said ordinance shall be in effect for all City-wide ejections subsequent to the passage, approval, and effect of said ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed insofar as such conflict may exist. Section 4. This ordinance shall be published one time in the “Lodi News Sentinel”, a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take effect thirty days from and after its passage and approval.
