Space in the original facility was converted to provide more housing for adoptable animals. In 2006 the People Assisting Lodi Shelter (PALS) added a portable structure and opened an adoption center staffed by PALS volunteers. In 2008, a dog exercise yard was constructed at the facility which was also funded through the PALS volunteer program. A brief presentation of the Animal Shelter layout and services will be provided.
