AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Contract for Blakely Park Fence Improvements,
1050 South Stockton Street
MEETING DATE: April 1, 1998

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the "Blakely Park
Fence Improvements, 1050 South Stockton" contract and direct the
City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's
office.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to S & J Construction, of Elk Grove, on
October 1, 1997, in the amount of $15,657. The contract has been
completed in substantial conformance with the plans and
specifications approved by the City Council.
The contract completion date was January 16, 1998, and the actual completion date was
January 6, 1998. The final contract price was $15,657, the same as the original contract price.
FUNDING: As determined at contract award.
