Minutes of the previous meeting Were read and approved. Build -Ing permits wen, granted as follows, Gus Bansmer, temporary dwelling, lot 3, block 1,East Lodi. W. L. Sherman, tem.orar'y dwelling,lot 11, block g�, Lodi Barn— hart Tract. M. E. Villinger, poultry house lot 4, block 35; City of Lodi. Report of City Marshal Coleman for the month of August was read and ord=ered filed. In r: -sponse to Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals in the matter of the improverlent of East Oak Street, in the City of Lodi, which notice was duly hosted and published according to law, Bids w; -:-re received from Clark w THenery Const ruct:.on Coirlpany and Federal Construction Company.
