Pursuant to adjournment of September '1st the .Board of Trustees Of the City of Lodi convened at S o'clock P. -M. , there being; present Trustees Black, Nate, Crose, Morehead and Montgomery. Minutes of the previous meeting Were read and approved. Build -Ing permits wen, granted as follows, Gus Bansmer, temporary dwelling, lot 3, block 1,East Lodi. W. L. Sherman, tem.orar'y dwelling,lot 11, block g�, Lodi Barn— hart Tract. M. E. Villinger, poultry house lot 4, block 35; City of Lodi. Report of City Marshal Coleman for the month of August was read and ord=ered filed. In r: -sponse to Notice Inviting Sealed Proposals in the matter of the improverlent of East Oak Street, in the City of Lodi, which notice was duly hosted and published according to law, Bids w; -:-re received from Clark w THenery Const ruct:.on Coirlpany and Federal Construction Company. RESOLVED, that the said Board of Trustees hereby reject all of said proposals or bids except that next herein mentioned, and h-?reby aw awards the contract for doing; said work and improvel:2ent to the lowest r< spolisibl:e bidder, to—wit; CLARK & HENERY CONSTRUCTIO[, COY�PAITY, at the prices named in its bid. RESOLUTION FINDING DUE PUBLICATTION OF ORDINANCIE NO. 107. RESOLVED; That :it a.ppeah: in.o, to the satisfaction of this, the Board of Trusters of the City of Lodi, County of :pan Joaquin, State of cali.fornia, by tYh- affidavit of C. E. Percival, the principal Clerk of the printer and publish�,.r of The. Lodi Sentinel, that Ordinance No. 107 has Dgen printed and published in The Lodi Sentinel, which is a news- paper of b neral circulation, printed and published tri -weekly, in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, for one time, and in tike manner .required by law, in accordance 1uith the Resolution of this, the Board of Trustees of the.
