CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL The Special City Council meeting of July 26, 2005, was called to order by Mayor Beckman at 7:00 a.m. Present: Council Members — Hansen, Hitchcock (arrived at 7:01 a.m.), Johnson, Mounce, and Mayor Beckman Absent: Council Members — None Also Present: City Manager King, City Attorney Schwabauer, and City Clerk Blackston B. REGULAR CALENDAR B-1 "Approve expenses incurred by outside counsel/consultants relative to the Environmental Abatement Program litigation and various other cases being handled by outside counsel ($229,945.64) and approve Special Allocation covering general litigation matter expenses ($30,000.99) (CA) City Attorney Schwabauer reviewed expenses incurred by outside counsel as outlined in the staff report (filed). He pointed out that costs associated with Kronick, Moskovitz, Tiedemann & Girard to work on the cases of Lodi First v. City of Lodi and Citizens for Open Government v. City of Lodi will be reimbursed to the City by Wal-Mart within 30 days.
