The Special City Council meeting of October 7, 2003, was called to order by Mayer Pro Tempore
Howard at 7:55 A.m.
Present: Council Members -- Beckman, Hansen, and Howard
Absent: Council Members - Land and Mayer Hitchcock
Also Present: City Manager Flynn, Deputy City Attorney Schwa.bauer, and City Clerk Blackston
PUBLIC,COMM NTS:
Eunice Friedrich noted that she had spoken to Mayor Hitchcock and Council Member
Beckman about:the matter that Council will consider in closed session. She stated that Mayor
Hitchcock had .recommended that she submit ph. otographs of the vehicle to show that it was
in. goad condition, as wolf as a Kelley Blue Book quote, bath of which tills. Friedrich complied
with. She commented that Jackie Tucker was one of the three individuals who lived across
the street and was a witness to where the car was parked.
S. CLOSED SESSION
At 8:00 a m Mayor Pro Tempore Howard adjourned the Special City Council meeting to a Closed
Session to discuss the fallowing matter:

At 8,.08 a.m., Mayor Pro Tempore Howard reconvened the Special City Council meeting, and
Deputy City AttorneySchwabauer disclosed the following action
In regard to Item B-1, the City Council, on a 2-1 vote with Mayor Pro Tempore Howard dissenting,
authorized that an additional settlement offer be made to Ms. Friedrich.
