HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - January 21, 1998 E-12A CITY OF L0DI COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Signal Modifications, Various Locations Contract MEETING DATE: January 21, 1998 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the "Signal Modifications, Various Locations" contract and direct the City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to Collins Electric Company, of Stockton, on June 18, 1997, in the amount of $31,500. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was October 1, 1997, and the actual completion date was October 1, 1997. The final contract price was $32,600. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is mainly due to two additional traffic loops which were installed in the Ham LaneNine Street intersection.
