BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project will provide the City with a unit -price bid for removing and replacing curb, gutter and sidewalk in various locations throughout the city. This is an annual contract and will be used to administer the sidewalk repair program and to repair bad curb and gutter as needed during 1998. A clause in the specifications will allow the City to extend the contract an additional year if it is mutually agreed upon by City staff and the contractor.
