HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - May 10, 1909Public Hall, Lodi, California, May 10, 1909 The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in adjourned regular session pursuant to adjournment of May 3, 1909, President G. E. Lawrence presiding and the following other members of the board being present; J. M. Blodgett, F. O Hale, C. A. Rich and Leon Villinger. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. City Clerk McMahon and Marshal Coleman asked for ten days leave of absence from the City, beginning May 16, 1909. Upon motion regularly made, seconded and carried, the leaves were granted. Ordinance No. 39: Ordinance No. 39, entitled, "An Ordinance Amending Section Five of Ordinance Number Four, Ordinances of the City of Lodi," was read and introduced and upon motion regularly made, seconded and carried, the ordinance was laid on the table for a period of not less than five days exclusive of the day of introduction. In the matter of St. Sprinkling, it was decided to call for bids to be opened next Monday evening, May 17, for one driver and four horses to operate the big wagon.
