The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regular session, President Geo. E.
Lawrence presiding and the following other members of the Board being present; J. M.
Blodgett, F. O. Hale, C. A. Rich, and Leon Villinger.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The following reports were read and approved.
City Marshal, for the month of March, 1909
City Treasurer for the quarter ending March 31, 1909
City Clerk, for the quarter ending Mar. 31, 1909
The following Applications for Building Permits were read and granted:

The Claim of S. B. Axtell for printing and publishing was referred to the Clerk for
Affidavit of Publication of Ord.
The Claims of H. Boos. Co. and A. P. Krumb were laid on the table.
Ordinance No. 37:
Ordinance No. 37, Entitled, "An Ordinance Amending Subdivision Three of Section One
of Ordinance No. Two Entitled `An Ordinance Relating to the Licenses, License Tax
Rates, and the Regulation of Certain Classes of Business, and Certain Shows, Exhibitions
and Lawful Games in the City of Lodi,"' was read and a motion made that the Ordinance
No. 37 be introduced and laid on the table for not less than five days exclusive of the day
of introduction. The motion was carried and it was so ordered.
The Marshal was empowered to have the streets sprinkled, paying at the rate of $5 per
day for four horses and driver.
No further business coming before the Board, the Board then on motion regularly made,
seconded and carried,adjoumed to reconvene on Monday evening, Apr. 12, 1909.
