Lawrence presiding & the following other members of the Board being present: J. M. Blodgett, F. 0. Hale, C. A. Rich and L. Villinger. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The report of the City Marshal for the month of January was read and approved. The following claims Chattel, H. C. Wilson, D. A. Hall, Bert Petty, F. M. Benedetti, A. James, C. A. Brower, Geo. Carver, E. L. Kleeburg, C. E. Pate, A. Lilienthal, A. Hamilton, M. Gilbean, F. Dougherty, Whitaker & Ray Co. Pope, R. Hepper, Jms., Coleman, H. Coal Drugs & Notorial Services Dog Tags 7.50 19.25 22.75 15.00 14.00 3.50 19.25 22.75 15.75 14.00 14.00 2.00 1.20 3.50 .75 3.10 70.00 1.00 10.00 6.00 10.00 45.00 4.00 40.00 53.75 1.30 21.85 8.25 449.45 A Petition from the Real Estate Dealers asking that the Real Estate Licenses be fixed at $3 per capita for agents maintaining an office and $15 per capita for those not maintaining offices was read and filed. 184 The Clerk was instructed to have an ordinance drafted making the real Estate License $5 per Capita for those maintaining offices in the City and $15 per capita for those not maintaining offices. Hon. J. W. Stuckenbruck came down from the State Capital to consult with the Board in regard to Assembly Bill #272, and any other matters that might affect the City. Several matters were discussed and Mr. Stuckenbruck assured the Board that he would endeavor to have Assembly Bill #272 defeated. No further business coming before the Board , it was moved, seconded an carried that the Board adjourn to reconvene Monday evening Feb. 8, 1909. So ordered Attest: J. M. McMahon City Clerk 185
