The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regular session, President G. E.
Lawrence presiding & the following other members of the Board being present: J. M.
Blodgett, F. 0. Hale, C. A. Rich and L. Villinger.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The report of the City Marshal for the month of January was read and approved.

A Petition from the Real Estate Dealers asking that the Real Estate Licenses be fixed at
$3 per capita for agents maintaining an office and $15 per capita for those not
maintaining offices was read and filed.

The Clerk was instructed to have an ordinance drafted making the real Estate License $5
per Capita for those maintaining offices in the City and $15 per capita for those not
maintaining offices.
Hon. J. W. Stuckenbruck came down from the State Capital to consult with the Board in
regard to Assembly Bill #272, and any other matters that might affect the City. Several
matters were discussed and Mr. Stuckenbruck assured the Board that he would endeavor
to have Assembly Bill #272 defeated.
No further business coming before the Board , it was moved, seconded an carried that the
Board adjourn to reconvene Monday evening Feb. 8, 1909. So ordered
