The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regular session, President Geo. E.
Lawrence presiding and the following members of the Board being present: J. M.
Blodgett, C. A. Rich, and L. Villinger.
Absent: F. 0. Hale
During the temporary absence of President Lawrence, Trustee Blodgett was chosen
President Pro Tem
The minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved.
The report of the Marshal for the month of December, and the Reports of the Clerk and
Treasurer for the Quarter ending Dec. 31, 1908, were read, approved and ordered filed.
The following applications for Building Permits were read and granted:
G. W. Todd, Improvements to Dwelling on Lots 9 & 10 of Block 47 B & K Add.
D. T. Scoggin, Barn on Lot 6 of Block 3 E. Lodi Add.
The following Claims against the City were allowed and ordered paid:

The Claim of Pat. Hdw.Co. and Lodi Herald were laid on the table.
F. A. Dougherty spoke of the Real Estate Agents and suggested that the Real Estate
License be amended to read a certain sum for each so licitor.
Ordinance No 36, Entitled, "An Ordinance Governing the Use of Bicycles on the Streets,
Sidewalks, and Sidewalk Spaces," was read and introduced on motion of Trustee J. M.
Blodgett, was laid on the table for a period of not less than five days or until the next
regular or adjourned regular meeting of the Board.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the Board do now adjourn to reconvene on
Monday evening, Jan. 11, 1909.
