HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - December 28, 1908Public Hall, Lodi, California, Dec. 28, 1908 The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in adjourned regular session, President Geo. E. Lawrence presiding and the following other members of the Board being present: J. M. Blodgett, F. O. Hale, C. A. Rich and L. Villinger. The following applications for Building Permits were read and granted. C. W. Rathbum, Dwelling on Lot 5 Block 1 Josephine Gristock, Dwelling on Lot 9 Block 1 Perrin Bros., Dwelling on Lot 12, Block 12 A communication from E. I. Jones re: the arch was read and filed. A communication from W. R. Scott of the S. P. Co. was read and filed. A petition from the Japanese Association of L. A. W. and others in regard to the conditions in the Oriental Quarter was read and filed. It was moved, seconded, and carried that the City of Lodi execute an agreement with the S. R. R. R. Co. for permission to maintain the Carnival Arch on the R. R. Reservation at an annual rental of $1.00 per year. The Board then adjourned. Attest: J. M. McMahon City Clerk 178
