HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - December 14, 1908Lodi, California, Dec. 14, 1908 The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in adjourned regular session, President Geo. E. Lawrence presiding and the following other members of the Board being present; J. M. Blodgett, F. O. Hale, C. A. Rich, and L. Villinger. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The following applications for building permits were read and granted. E. E. Davis, Dwelling & Tank House on Moran Tract E. G. Morris, Kitchen Lot 6 of Block 1 The claim of M. Hamilton of $2.00 for night watching having been filed within the proper time was read and ordered paid. The President of the Board was instructed to employ an attorney on behalf of the City to prosecute the violations of the Gambling Ordinance. It was moved, seconded and carried that the vote of wages on the streets be as follows: $2.00 per day per man $1.50 per day for first span of horses 41.00 per day for each additional span of horses The conditions of the bicycle ordinance were discussed and agreed upon.
