The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in adjourned regular session pursuant
to adjournment of Nov. 2, 1908, the following members of the Board being present: J. M.
Blodgett, F. O. Hale, C. A. Rich, and L. Villinger. Absent: G. E. Lawrence
C. A. Rich was elected President Pro -Tem
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The report of the City Marshal for the month of October was read and approved.
The following applications for Building Permits were read and granted:
W. A. Young, Barn on Lot 7 of Block 6
J. C. Ferguson, Addition to building on lot 7 of Block 6
A letter from the President and Secretary of the League of California Municipalities
asking the Board to be represented at the next Annual session of the League at
Sacramento on Nov. 17, 18, 19 & 20th, was read and filed.
G. M. Steele, Esq., appeared on behalf of the property holders of Pleasant Ave. and
Woodbridge Ave. presented a resolution taking the preliminary steps toward the
narrowing of the above streets.
The Resolution was read and it was moved, seconded, and carried that the Resolution be
introduced and laid on the table till the next meeting. So ordered.
Mr. B. F. Woodson on behalf of the Board of Health spoke of the condition of cesspools
in the City.
No further business coming before the Board, the Board then adjourned.
