Lawrence presiding and the following members of the Board being present: J. M. Blodgett, F. O. Hale, C. A. Rich, and Leon Villinger The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. The report of the City Pound Master for the month of August was read and filed. The following applications for Building Permits were read and granted: G. P. Martin, Dwg. on S. School Street G. E. Morgan, Bldg. on W. Elm Geo J. Thorpe, Barn on W. Oak A communication from the Japanese The following Claims against the Cit Patnam Hdw. Co. Quail, F. E. Murray, L. F., Zimmerman, S. H. McMahon, J. Squires appeared before the board and spoke of the practice of boys riding in the Railway Trains and Engines. The Board then proceeded to discuss the tax levy and decided upon a levy of 75cents for general taxes and upon a levy of 92 cents for Bonds and interest, viz. M. I., Fund No. 1 — 36 %z cents, M. I.
