The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in adjourned regular session pursuant
to adjournment of Aug. 17, 1908, President G. E. Lawrence presiding and the following
other members of the Board being present:
J. M. Blodgett, C. A. Rich and L. Villinger
Absent: F. O. Hale
Judge E. I Jones was also present.
The minutes of the previous meeting was read and approved as read.
W. C. Brown and Max Elvert of the Eagles' Carnival Committee were present and stated
that they would conduct a Carnival along the usual lines and would likely request some
concessions at a future meeting.
The following applications for building permits were read and granted:
F. H. Cordway, Dwelling at Cor. Oak and Cherokee St.
Wm. Seijkoff, Carnage House of Sheet Iron on Lot 19, of Block 27
J. C. Meyer, Dwg. on Lot 13 of Sub #10 Burrs' add
The plat of the Knoll Addition to Lodi, together with the offer of Gottlieb Knoll, the
owner to dedicate the Alley thereon to the public forever was presented to the board, and
thereupon it was moved, seconded and carried that the offer be accepted and the plat
approved.
It was moved that this Board do now adjourn to reconvene on Aug. 31, 1908. The
motion was carried and it was so ordered.

to adjournment to Aug.24, 1908, President G. E. Lawrence presiding and the following
other members of the Board being present: J. M. Blodgett, C. A. Rich, and Leon
Villinger.
Absent: F. O. Hale.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Application of O. O. Osborne for permission to remove buildings form Lodi 1, 2, & 3 of
Larson's addition to Lodi Block 6 of East Lodi addition was read and it was moved that
the application be granted, with the proviso that the Supt. of Streets designate the streets
over which said buildings may be moved. The motion was carried and so ordered.
Communication from the Welles Obrian Co. asking for information as to the bids for
Sewer work read and filed.
Communication of H. H. Pentland asking for appointment as engineer of the City Light
and Water Plant read and filed.
No further business coming before the Board, the Board then adjourned
