HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - June 29, 1908Public Hall, Lodi, California, June 29, 1908 The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in adjourned regular session pursuant to adjournment of June 22, 1908, President G. E. Lawrence presiding and the following other members of the Board being president: J. M. Blodgett, F. O. Hale, C. A. Rich and L. Villinger. The minutes of the meeting of June 22, 1908 were read and approved. Mr. O. W. Leffler and Mr. Lou T. Freitas of Stockton spoke in favor of the Lodi people assisting in the celebration of the Fourth of July. Trustee C. A. Rich moved that a Committee of two be appointed to act in conjunction with the citizens and see what could be done. The motion was seconded and carried, and the following were appointed; F. O. Hale and Leon Villinger. It was moved by Trustee J. M. Blodgett that we set the date and place of opening bids for bonds at the office of the City Treasurer in the first National Bank at 3 O'clock p.m., July 15,1908. The motion was carried and so ordered. No further business coming before the Board, the Board then adjourned. Attest: J. M McMahon City Clerk 144
