HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes - June 22, 1908Public Hall, Lodi, California, June 22, 1908 The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in adjourned regular session pursuant to adjournment of June 17, 1908. President Geo. E. Lawrence presiding and the other members of the Board as follows being present. J. M. Blodgett, LeonVillinger, F. O. Hale and C.. A. Rich. The minutes of the meeting of June 17 were read and approved. Mr. Joe Downen presented a petition signed by several property holders asking the Board of City Trustees not to grant a franchise to the California Traction Co. On that portion of Sacramento street between Lodi Ave. and the West Co. Winery. Said petition was referred to the Committee of the Whole. Mr. J. A. Graham was present with his report in regard to Comparison of Lodi Street grades with the grade of the California Traction railroad. The report was read and filed. Ed Breitenbucher representing Eaton, Buckley and without submitted to the Board of Trustees plot of subdivision of Lot 72. Lodi Barnhart Tract, a motion was regularly made and seconded that the plot be approved and accepted. The motion was lost by a unanimous vote. The Clerk was instructed to notify Buckley Eaton and Wilboit that it was the sense of the Board that no plat be accepted with streets less than sixty feet wide. Plat of Subdivision Block No. 10 of Lodi Barnhart Tract was offered by Mrs. May C. Gannon to be approved and accepted. On motion regularly made and seconded and carried, plat was accepted. No further business coming before the Board, the Board then on motion regularly moved and seconded adjourned to convene June 29, 1908 Frank A. Henning Deputy City Clerk 143
