The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regular session, President G. E.
Lawrence presiding and the following other members of the Board being present: J. M.
Blodgett, C. A. Rich and Leon Villinger
Absent: F. O. Hale
Attorney E. I Jones was present
The minutes of the meeting of May 11, 1908 were read and approved as read.
Ordinance No. 33
Ordinance No. 33 was read and on motion regularly made by Trustee J. M. Blodgett,
seconded by Trustee C. A. Rich and carried unanimously, Ordinance No 33 was
introduce for passage and adoption and laid on the table for a period of not less than five
days exclusive of the day of introduction.
The following applications for Building Permits were read and granted:
Jacob Heinitz, Barn on Lots 17 & 19m of Block 1
Esselstyne & Bauer, Dancing Platform, in W. Elm
The application of R. L. Patton for permission to build a dance platform on S.
Sacramento St. was laid on the table.
The Claim of Dr. F. W. Colman of 445 for fumigation, having been laid on the table on
May 4, was taken up and allowed and ordered paid.
It was regularly moved, seconded and carried that hereafter the compensation of the
Health Officer for fumigating be fixed at $3 for each fumigation.
No further business coming before the Board, the Board then on motion regularly made,
seconded and carried adjourned to reconvene on May 25, 1908.
