The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regular session, President Geo. E.
Lawrence presiding and the following Trustees being present: J. M. Blodgett and C. A.
Rich.
Absent F. 0. Hale and L. Villinger.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved as read.
The report of the City Marshal, H. B. Coleman, for the month of January was read,
Approved and filed.
The report of the City Pound master, H. S. Brannack for the month of January was read,
approved and filed.
The following applications for Bldg. Permits were read and granted:
Henry Titis office, Barnhart Tract.
Mabel Wauchope Dwelling on Lot 6 of Block 12
Henry Perrin Buggy Shed on E. Pine St.
L. B. Hines Auto Shed, S. School St.
Ford Scholl Barn Lot 2 of Block 2
H. C. Haslam was granted permission to tip trees in front of his property on E. Pine St.
The following claims were read, allowed and ordered paid:

Communication from R. E. Wilhoit, recommending Mr. H. H. Henderson was read and
filed.

Draymen, Cook and Wilson appeared before the Board and complained that they had to
pay a license while others who hauled for hire were not paying a license; and mentioned
the names of Carver, Brownman, and Hall. The matter was referred to the City Marshal.
Complaint was also made of the California Traction Co. unloading freight along the
street.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the claim of F. W. Colman for $5 for fumigation
be laid on the table.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the pay of night watchman Hamilton for looking
after the City Lights be fixed at $2 per month. So ordered.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the Street Supt. be empowered to employ J. A.
Graham to place grade stakes where required.
It was moved, seconded and carried that the board do now adjourn till Monday eve. Feb.
10, 1908. So ordered.
