The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regular session, President G. E.
Lawrence Presiding and the following other members of the Board being present: J. M.
Blodgett, J. O. Hale and C. A. Rich.
Absent; L. Villinger.
The minutes of the meeting of Nov. 18, 1907 were read and approved as read.
The Report of the City Marshal, H. B. Coleman, and of Pound Master H. Brannack were
read and approved.
The following applications for Building Permits were read and granted:

The following claims were then read, allowed and ordered paid:

The Claim of C. A. Farnsworth for Printing of $43 was referred back to claimant; and the
claim of Hawkins & Seale of $8.35 for refund on License was denied.
County Surveyor F. E. Quail appeared before the Board and discussed the matter of a
map for the City.

It was moved and seconded that the proposition of F. E. Quail for an official map of the
City of Lodi be accepted. That is, that the City of Lodi pay F. E. Quail the sum of $100
for 25 mounted and lithographed maps of the City of Lodi, said maps to be accurate and
complete and be submitted to the Board of Trustees for their approval before
lithographing. Said sum of $100 to be paid when the maps are completed to the
satisfaction of the Board and delivered. The Motion was carried & so ordered.
It was moved by J. M. Blodgett and seconded by C. A. Rich that the Board of Trustees of
the City of Lodi tender the Women's Improvement Club a vote of thanks for placing
signs bearing the names of the streets upon the street comers. Carried and so ordered.
Mr. H. F. Ellis, a director of the Public Library appeared before the Board and stated that
the Library Board would be able to turn the Public Library over to the Trustees at their
next meeting free from debt.
He also stated that the proposition of a Carnegie Library was in a fair way to become a
reality.
No further business coming before the Board, the Board then adjourned.
