The board of Trustees of the City of Lodi convened in regular session, President
Lawrence presiding, and the following Trustees being present: Blodgett, Hale, Rich, &
Villinger.
The Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved as read.
The Report of the City Marshal for the month of June was read and approved.
The Report of the City Pound Master for the month of June was read and approved.
The Report of the City Clerk for the Quarter ending June 30,1907, was read and
approved.
The Resignation Hon. G. M. Sterle, City Recorder was read and approved.
The Report of Fire Chief Hilliard E. Welch was read and approved.
A communication from Dr. O. O. Osborne asking permission on behalf of the Trustees of
the Seventh Day Adventists Church to erect an addition to their church in East Lodi read
and on motion regularly made, seconded and carried, the request was granted.
Co. Surveyor, F. E. Quail, appeared before the Board with a map of Lodi and adjacent
territory; and submitted a proposition in writing which proposition was referred to the
Com. of the Whole.
W. P. Lancaster made a request for permission to repair & improve his residence at the
corner of First St. and Pleasant Ave. On motion regularly made, seconded and carried the
request was granted.
The following claims were then read and on motions regularly made, seconded and
carried the same were allowed and ordered paid:

The claim of Cary Bros. for $133.45 for Water & Lights for quarter Ending June 30,
1907, was read and on motion regularly made, seconded and carried. The claim was laid
on the table and referred to Trustee C.A. Rich as a Committee of one for adjustment.
The Claim of Dougherty, J. W. for street sprinkling for $102 was read and on motion
regularly made seconded and carried the claim was laid on the table and referred to
Trustee F. O. Hale on a Committee of one for adjustment.
Claim of F. E. Quail for $25 for Plat book was read and laid on the table.
Ordinance No. 26
Ordinance No. 26, entitled "An Ordinance Prohibiting Gambling Games and Presence
Thereof by Imposing Penalties in Relation to the Same."
It was regularly moved by F. O. Hale and seconded by L. Villinger that Ordinance No.26
be adopted as read.
The motion was carried by the following votes;
Ayes; F. O. Hale, L. Villinger, C.A. Rich, and J. M. Blodgett.
Noes; None
Absent; None.
No further business coming before the Board, the board then on motion regularly made,
seconded and carried, adjourned.
