Mar. 11, 1907 The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi reconvened in the adjourned regular session pursuant to adjournment of Mar 4, 1907, President Lawrence presiding, and the following Trustees being present: Villinger, Rich, Hale and J. Blodgett. Minutes of previous Meeting read and approved. Petition of the residents of Burr's Addition, asking that Pleasant Ave. be reduced from 100 feet in width to 80 ft. In width, read and placed on file. Mr. O. J. Hemphill addressed the board in favor of the petition and stated that the petition contained the signatures of all the property holders on Pleasant Avenue except Mr. Pate and Mr. M. Yer who also favored the petition. Plat of the Moran -Handel Tract presented to the Board for their approval. The Board then on motion duly made, seconded and carried, adopted the following resolution: The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin, State of California, the governing body, having control of the Streets, Roads, Avenues, alleys and Highways in the territory shown on this map or plat of the Moran -Handel Tract, hereby accept the offer of Joe Moran, J. G. Handel and W. P. Boden to dedicate the same as public Highways to the public use forever, and hereby endorse as accepted by it each and all of the said Streets, Roads, Avenues, Alleys and Highways, shown on said map and declare each and all of said Streets, Roads, Avenues, Alleys and Highways as Public Highways. Matter of Street Lighting was then taken up. Moved by C. A. Rich, seconded by J. M.Blodgett, that we take steps toward procuring 18 32 c.p. Streetlights and 2 Arc Lights. Carried by an unanimous vote. No further business coming before the Board, the Board then adjourned to reconvene Thursday evening, Mar. 14, 1907. 41
