The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi reconvened in adjourned regular session
pursuant to adjournment of Jany. 21, 1907, President Lawrence presiding.
Present: Lawrence, Blodgett, Rich, Hale and Villinger.
Minutes of previous meeting read and approved.
Communication of the Board of Health, recommending the passage of an ordinance
prohibiting the hauling of the contents of cesspools, privy vaults, etc.between the hours of
sunrise and sunset, read and placed on file.
Mr. E. E. Beitenbucker approved before the board and submitted a plan showing the
Moran Tract and other property and setting forth the proposed extension of Sacramento
and School Sts. Matter laid on the table to be taken up later.
Ordinance No 17 (Speed of Railway Trans. Obstruction of Streets etc.) read.
Moved by Villinger, seconded by Blodgett that Ordinance No. 17 be adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote: Ayes; Villinger, Blodgett, Rich & Hale. Noes; None.
Ordinance No. 16 (Amending Sec. 17 of Ord. No. 7) read.
Moved by Hale, seconded by Rich that Ordinance No. 16 be adopted as read.
Carried by the following vote:
Ayes; Hale, Rich, Villinger, & Blodgett. Noes; None.
It was declared to be the sense of the board that the Liquor business be considered a
separate and distinct business.
The Board then adjourned to reconvene Wednesday evening, Jany. 30 1907.
