Dec.26, 1906 The Board of Trustees of the City of Lodi reconvened in adjourned regular session pursuant to adjournment of Dec. 22, 1906, President Lawrence presiding. Present: Lawrence, Blodgett and Rich. Absent: Hale and Villinger. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. Communication of Hartford Post #155, G. A. R, requesting the appointment of W. D. Stannard, M. D. as the Health Officer read and placed on file. The matter of fixing salaries of officers postponed until later. The matter of street lighting taken up and discussed with Supt. J. A. Henning of the Lodi Electric Co. The Board requested the Light Co. submit at the next meeting a proposition of furnishing 6 Ave. Lights and 10 —32 c/o street lights. Mr. J. H. Nay appeared before the Board and submitted a proposition to sweep 3 1/2 Blocks or more every other day at the rate of $12 per month per block. The matter of inability or incompetence of the parents of the Little Baey girl presented to the Board by J. M. Doughtery, and referred to the City Marshall. Mr. T. H. Murray addressed the Board regarding the Real Estate License, claiming that the claim was unjust. The question of Pound Master and Enforcement of the Dog License made a special order for next week. Consideration of Ordinance No 4 and No. 5: Moved by C. A. Rich, seconded by J. M Blodgett, that Ordinance No. 4 of the City of Lodi be adopted as read. Carried by the following vote: Ayes; Lawrence, Rich, and Blodgett. Noes; None Absent; Hale and Villinger. The Board then adjourned to reconvene on Friday evening, Dec 28, 1906. J. M.
